Pisces Full Moon Reading: Honour Yourself

Dear Moon Muser, i don't know about you, but things are finally moving forward again after the last Mercury Retrograde that just ended although Mars is still retrograde until August 27th. For me this Moon feels a bit spacey (so Piscean!) and ME-focused. It's also helped me more clearly see a vision I've been feeling for some time now and to write, write, write. When this card appears in a reading it’s time to get serious, take charge and get ‘er done! Put on your action cap or your thinking cap or whatever cap you need to help you focus on what’s important. If you’re a woman this may mean accessing your animus or your inner male – the part of you that thinks in a linear, goal focused way. Whether male or female take a moment to honour yourself and recognize all you’ve achieved so far in your life.

In my own personal life I gain daily focus by writing a to-do list every morning after breakfast; a list that actually is do-able so that I can gain much needed satisfaction from checking things off my list.

Aquarius New Moon Ritual

You are here.
You are present.
You are awake.

You are 3 in 1.
Maiden/Mother/Crone.

You are earth, air, fire, water and spirit.

You are me and I am you.

Is your heart open to receiving?

No fear,
Just silence.

Be in that silence. Now picture either an angel, goddess, elf, fairy or mermaid guide who has come to help you. Ask them their name and become one with them for an instant, allowing yourself to be in their element: earth, air, fire, water. Allow this element to purify and revive you. Become one with that element and go forth and purify and revitalize your own space, your land, your city, country, world, universe. Extend out as little or as far as you like; knowing that you are safe, guided and protected by your guide and the elements.

When you are ready come back to the here and now and thank your Guide and Mama Moon for your Divine Being-ness. If feeling inspired, now would also be a good time to set your intention for the moonth ahead.

Instead of seeking approval outside of yourself go within and be your own best friend. You ARE good enough and, in fact you are the best YOU there is and the only YOU that will ever exist.

In my own life this card was inspired by my dad, and that story is a long one indeed. I learned a lot about what not do to in life from him, and for that I am grateful.

Do you ever feel like Homer does, “On the verge of greatness?” If ‘yes’ then describe what that means for you and explain what it refers to as well. If not, then describe a feeling of being on the verge of greatness or something similar.

What does greatness look like to you? What meaning does it hold?

Are you on the way to achieving this greatness, and if so, what needs to happen for you to get there and to know greatness?  Try breaking it down into numbered steps within a timeline.

Now, congratulate yourself BIG TIME for your foresight and diligence in acknowledging right now, that even without all this, YOU ARE GREAT just by saying these words:

Expressive Body Movement Challenge
Imagine that, like Homer, you too are on the verge of greatness. Translate that feeling of greatness and momentum and possibility into an element such as earth, air, fire or water. Which element facilitates and encourages your feeling of greatness the most? Now become that element.

Take some time to meditate upon your greatness and to come up with a symbol to depict your greatness along with an affirmation using your non dominant hand.
