i am a conduit for the Divine

As summer chugs ever forward I remind myself daily that I am but a tool in the hands of the Goddess. These days I'm working hard (or playing hard...same diff) at developing a new Creative Soul Program involving my Lefty cards; all drawn with my non dominant left hand.  I am walking the talk as I do the program myself to make sure it works and works well, so that when I share it with all of you, it will be perfect and exactly what YOU need for your own growth and development. This work is accentuated by the spiritual growth work I'm doing such as the classes and mentorships I'm undertaking with Francesca De Grandis (Faerie Shamanism) and Marisa Anne (Creative Thursday). I'm also studying the books of Paul Selig and am finishing up a 40 Day Prosperity Program.

I hope that your own summer/winter is equally productive and just to let you know, we're all in line for a major boost astrologically from Jupiter, the planet of expansion, which has just entered the sign of Leo.

My body dances me home (a channeled text)

Firstly, get all that mumbo jumbo religious dogma out of your head. We are entering the Earth; deep, deep, deep within, whilst maintaining a single silver thread to the surface.

Knock, knock...is anybody home?

Is this the end? Or the beginning? Or just more talk, talk, talk?

We ask you three times and three times you answer: "of nothing, of nothing, of nothing."

You feel unworthy. You feel drained. You feel unlucky.

Then a Lefty appears, one of the many hundred. She calls to you and you come home.

Channeling Paloma of the Here and Now

Arms spread wide, black hair flowing out, I stand with my back against Paloma, her arms around me. I can feel her heart beating.

Black flames race out from her fingertips encircling us, encircling the whole world.

I stand. I wait. I feel Her power.

I repeat the words:

You are not your paintings.

You are not your work.

You are Divine.

You are Goddess.

Let go.

Let go.

Embrace the One-ness

Embrace the One-ness.

And I smile and feel my shoulders relax, a weight has lifted. I breathe in the morning.

I can do it. You can too. Whatever is making you miserable and bringing you down, know that you too will get though this.

Paloma lifts me up onto a stone ledge so that I am facing her. We are in a Cretan Cave of Red Bulls.* I place my hands upon red imprints of other hands on the cave walls feeling Herstory within me.

Like a jackal I howl; a thin, mournful sound that echoes back at me increasing in depth until it blends with my heartbeat.

Then we laugh, our teeth bared and shining...the Moon beckons and we go.

Consulting with your Spirit Guides: A Morning Meditation

I'd like to share a small sample of my day in the hopes that it might motivate you to try something different for yourself. I begin each day with yoga, meditation and intuitive consultation in a circle with my spirit guides, angels, goddesses and ancestors. I work with  oracle cards of my own design and Norse runes.

Kathy Crabbe, I call wrinkles 'god-points' and so far I'm winning, 2007, mixed media on paper, 8x10”. 

I begin today's Intuitive Consultation with the words, "Just for today I am guided intuitively by my angels, guides and Ancestors." If this feels selfish to you, then ask yourself, "Is liberation selfish?" I open myself to sharing, loving, being and doing all that supports my highest and deepest good. I open myself to Creation, to love, caring and healing. How? By reverence for life and for death.

I write down any channeled guidance or oracle card insight I receive plus my Sacred Mission for the day. For example, today's sacred task is to paint Paloma, a Goddess who appeared to me yesterday (blog post coming soon!) What is your sacred mission or task of the day?

Before you close your circle don't forget to thank your guides and angels and when you blow out your candle make sure to send healing, health, wholeness and holiness to all those in need and please feel free to mention their name(s) aloud when you do.

Entering the Light

And again I face my Persephone Painting (the big one) and decide to create a smaller version before going any further (a linoblock print is next). And again I pull a Norse Rune to help me connect with Persephone, Goddess of the Underworld.

Channeling Persephone ~ A Ghostly Tale

Persephone: "Meet me in the Circle" (there are ghosts everywhere), but we go deeper and deeper into the center, which is blood-red.

Persephone hands me a sphere also colored blood-red. "Drink, drink," she says and so I do and the sphere empties of colour and glows clear. "Now, you are one of us. You can see/hear/feel everything down here."

She puts a paintbrush in my hand and I'm back in the cave, as before, waiting to be guided to what I need to do. Persephone helps me stay focused on my purpose and not get distracted.

Me: (I realize this is how I like to work). A sunflower lights my way and I hold it with one hand and ask the dark spirits what to draw.

Dark Spirits: Go on.

Persephone: Your way is lit, your eyes shine through mine. March on, march on, march on.

Me: I see endless trails of white leading to souls; unhappy, trapped.

Persephone: Be with them, reassure them, show them the light - the source. Hold up your sphere. The sunflowers light your way.

And then, like a vacuum cleaner, or a moth to a flame, the soul's eyes open and they are sucked up and into the light by force of their will and their desire to be One with Source.

Me: What am I?

Persephone: You are the witness.
