Museletter: Abundance, Prosperity and Strength (Leo Full Moon Shared Focus Meditation)

This is the FIRST ever Full Moon Shared Focus Meditation I'm hosting and I'm so thrilled to be sharing it with you, my blog readers and my Creative Soul Circle (read more at the bottom of this post). The intent of the Shared Focus Meditation is to bring ALL of us together at a specific moment in time (at the Full Moon) so we can connect, focus upon the Meditation below, and then energetically and spiritually raise power, to walk the talk and BE the change we seek in the world. So, to begin I'd like you to look back at the previous New Moon in Aquarius on Jan. 2nd at the  intentions you set for the month ahead. In our previous New Moon Meditation we focused on identifying our strengths to develop an abundant mind set. Discussions ensued in the Circle with awesome input from Kate Walsh, financial planner who specializes in assisting women in developing Prosperity Thinking.

  • How have your New Moon seeds sprouted and flowered?
  • Have you identified your strengths and put them to work to allow abundance and prosperity to flow freely?

Leo Full Moon Shared Focus Meditation February  18, 2011 12:36 am pst Synch your watches here.

As I begin this Shared Focus Meditation I sense impatience in the air, alive and energetic, egging me on: GET TO IT, GET ON WITH IT, OPEN YOUR EYES W*I*D*E and so I get right to it and pull a Creative Soul Card®  (to the left) and then I stop and allow the silence to penetrate my soul and I hear angels (blue) and frogs singing.

Creative Soul Affirmation: The more LOVE I allow into my life the more abundant I become ~ the spiral grows and flows infinitely.

Creative Soul Action: Take a few moments to envision that spiral of love and abundance flowing in and out, in and out, like the tides, so that each breath you take forms an ever growing spiral. Breathe in to this spiral IN, OUT...IN, OUT as you connect with your breath and become fully present in your body.

Creative Soul Practice: Spend at least two minutes every day for one week's time practicing the Creative Soul Action above, and remember ~ Power in numbers, SiStars!

Creative Soul Accountability Success Marker: At the end of one week report back to the Creative Soul Circle Shared Focus Meditation Group thread started for the Leo Full Moon to share what happened for you during the week. What changed? What didn't? What synchronicities occurred?

Creative Soul Challenge: If you cannot seem to find the time for a two minute (minimum) daily meditation, then why not? Write about it in your Moon Musing/Creative Soul Journal and then discuss it in our Circle thread so we can comment, offer support AND kick your butt (or bum)!

Creative Soul Request: Janine asks each one of you to envision our Circle and yourself growing in love, strength and abundance with each breath you take, because today each one of us is a winner at heart.

The Creative Soul Guides® aka Lefty Oracles

Kathy Crabbe, her Lefty Art & Michelle Shocked onstage in Los Angeles: Campfire Show Me, Michelle Shocked & Ginny (a Lefty)  at The Campfire Show International Women's Day, Hollywood, 2003.

In 2001 I began drawing exclusively with my non dominant left hand. I called these drawings 'talking heads' because they all had funny little names and no necks. Five years later I had enough Lefty drawings to inhabit a whole world  and I had completely lost track of which hand I was using when I picked up a brush or pen. I like to tell people that I began the Lefty Series because my overly dominant right hand lost it's sense of humour, but really I just needed to shake things up a bit.

Left handed people are disproportionately represented in the creative professions - Turning on the right brain is a skill and one that grows stronger the more you work at it ~ Martha Beck, Oprah Magazine.

A Lefty drawing & a Polaroid of Donna posing as a Lefty.

Facing Fears or Stuff the Lefties Got Me Into

- Guided by a dream I turned my Lefty drawings into an oracle card deck for giving online psychic readings.

Over a five year period of painting more than 500 Lefties I discovered that my psychic abilities were increasing to the point where I just HAD to share these gifts by giving Creative Soul Readings.

- Participated in a six month long psychic-mediumship circle or English Traditional Healing Circle to hone and develop my intuitive skills PLUS overcame a lifelong fear of merging onto freeways (at age 42!).

- Started writing poetry again. I created projects such as Gadfly, a series of Lefty Chapbooks that morphed into Songs of the Lefties, a Postcard Zine (sixteen  issues in all with monthly subscribers) and a book titled Odds & Ends - A Collection of Friends - Recipes, Rhymes & Incantations.

- Started a Writer's Group to meet writers and showcase the Lefties. The group became quite popular and was featured in the local newspaper.

Action words for right brain thinking: compassion, an open heart and a willingness to be supportive, joyful and at one with the universe.

- Started signing my art as Kathy Crab rather than Crabbe and introduced myself as 'Kitty' at various writing events - it just fit in a Lefty kinda way.

- Invited by Los Angeles musician and activist, Michelle Shocked along with Martha of The Muffins, an NPR (National Public Radio) talk show host, and the Radical Teen Cheerleaders to speak out about our art processes at Michelle's 2006 Campfire Series in Hollywood, California in celebration of International Women’s Day. I was absolutely terrified when Michelle first suggested I speak to a large group, but then she introduced me with her song, 'When I grow up I want to be an old woman'  and I was just fine.

- Began a performance art project during which I snapped Polaroids of local people posing as Lefties  (see Donna in the photo above) and had them sign their Polaroids with a funny nickname while using their non dominant hand.

- The Lefties offer guidance to students of my Divine Feminine eClass being offered at the Wise Woman University online and in person in lots of other places where they are known as Moon Muses. They are intuitive guides and question askers that offer  insight and wisdom along with exercises to heal and inspire.

I will always call the Lefties best friends.  They continue to inspire, amuse and guide us all. I feel that many spiritual practices and people are lacking in humor. Many of us long for laughter and lightness to express our inner joy and playfulness  so that's what myself and the Lefties are here to do.

The Lefties and I enjoyed these comments very much:

"You must travel to some secret place when you create them" ~ Jennice Hyden, Acupuncturist

"Zen-like" ~ Mary Fleener, Cartoonist.

"The world needs more of your kind of clever silliness" ~ Linda Brunker, Sculptor

"Self esteem boosting" ~ Los Angeles Times, Calendar Section

"I've never seen anything like it...I laughed out loud" - Michael Pontacolini, Spoon Magazine

"Beauty, colorful, pretty, delicate, Murano glass come to life almost too beautiful to touch...I fall in love with the Klimt-inspired drawing...I am charmed. An aging art snob with a guerilla aesthetic. I flip through card after card and start scheming ways to steal K. Crab's work. Beg her to keep drawing!" Andree LaChapelle, Broken Pencil Magazine

"They're so delicate, succinct, playful, refreshing" ~ Susan Mrosek, Artist/Author

The Creative Soul Guides gently and intuitively encourage us to face our fears and experience creative breakthroughs.

A Past Life Reading for Shirley

What is a Past Life Reading? This combination astrology and soul reading will help you gain a better understanding of who you are so that you can maximize your potential and natural abilities to the utmost of your ability. Real growth comes from understanding and transforming behavior patterns so that you can challenge yourself to develop in new and exciting ways based upon a knowledge of your past lives.

Your past life reading will also include an examination of the north and south nodes of the Moon in your birth chart. The Moon rules your feelings, moods, and emotional body. It is the most important planet in your chart from a karmic/past life perspective and will help you understand your karmic mission for this lifetime based upon your past lives.

Your reading will explore: • two or three major past lives • the location in the world in which you were born and lived • information about your gender and appearance • your important experiences and relationships • talents or abilities you cultivated • your ethical and spiritual development • major lessons you learned

How a Soul Reading Works: My preferred mode of reading someone's soul-energy is via distance - this allows me to focus on you, your spirit and your guides in a focused way clear of distractions. Each reading involves preparations such as meditation and yoga to help me focus. I will often pull healing stones and a card(s) from one of my four self-designed and painted oracle card decks, but unlike a tarot reading I will not actually look at the card until after your reading is finished. The card imagery and description often serve to accentuate and emphasize certain points in your reading and along with the healing stones may also give you some more tools to work with on your own after the reading is over.

Shirley comments on her reading: "I have to say, that with all of the negativity swirling around me, your readings have been the only bright spot, the only glimmer of light that's kind of giving me the oomph to keep pushing through this gunk. That probably sounds melodramatic, but I just don't deal well with stress! And I have to say...Wow. Wow! I've never had such a beautiful, insightful, and just plain interesting reading." *You can read more of her comments at the end of this post*

A Past Life Reading for Shirley *reprinted with permission *You can purchase a reading here.

I will begin your past life reading by taking a look at two of your past lives based upon a psychic/soul reading of your past life energy.

Lifetime 1

In the first lifetime I tap into I see you as a little girl by the name of Gena and you have been sent to a school/convent where a harsh nun is being very unkind to you; she reprimands you and raps your knuckles in front of the class. - You are a very high-strung child and quite the tricksie, or trickster (joker). - And you are also very unusual, in that you are able to pull out these ‘cords of negativity’ from your body that were put there by the nun. You stuff them into a small, wooden compartment/closet/box.

- You grow up very determined and quite hardened, with little patience, especially for little girls! - You like to snap your fingers and have things done immediately. - You are also very unhappy. - You live in a small town in Italy near the mountains. - You regret everything that has happened, but you can’t stop. - The time period is the 1600’s and the power of the Church was evident. - One day you decide that “Tomorrow, I will settle the score” and you return to the old school/convent, find the box (with the negative cords), open it, and blow away all the remnants of negative energy still within it. You almost slump to the ground from relief and exhaustion. - You never again return to your business, but instead work in service to create better schools and systems.

Life Lesson: Your life lesson was well learned, but not easily. You overcame hard lessons and managed to tap into your healing abilities at long last and were able to give back to your community with compassion and common sense.

I also catch a glimpse of several other lifetimes: - I see peacock feathers and dancers – it appears to be ancient times in Persia. - I see a sweet, lonely girl named Kathryn in a tower. She is pining away. - I see a horse and short, dark, good humoured male rider in a parade in Mexico. - I see a 1950’s farm wife looking out a window, and I see pigs and slop (their food).

Lifetime 2

- The second lifetime I tap into takes place in the Congo in the early second century AD and your name is Kentu (Bentu). - You are the blackest person I’ve ever seen – you have a shiny, black ebony body and you are almost naked (except for a loin cloth) and are jumping through fields. - The next image I see is of you beating a rhythm with one foot, as you form a sun pattern with your hand, all around your body. - I also see women forming in a circle around you – they are symbolizing ‘rain’ in a special ceremony. - The jungle gets quiet for just a moment as you re-enact this ancient ceremony. - This is the last time you will be doing the ceremony, because you are passing it on to someone else. - You are free now to pursue a ‘normal’ life and I see you hunting cheetahs, or leopards. - You still partake in ceremonies, but not as the Sun, instead you are a star. - You are very content and at one with yourself, your body and your tribe. - You are very lithe and skilful as a hunter and you move so beautifully in your skin. - Marriage does not exist at this time, but you do beget two children – two boys.

Life Lesson: You were completely at one with your life mission and your life this time around. This was a lifetime of singular beauty, grace and intelligence: of the body and your place in the universe. Beautiful!

I am ending this part of your reading by sending you a blessing for condensation of knowing and for sharing your beauty and beautiful ways.

Part 2 - An Astrological Analysis of the Nodes of the Moon in your Natal (Birth) Chart

Your Karmic Mission based upon past lives – Why are you here? (The Nodes of the Moon)

In astrology, the Moon rules our feelings, our moods, and our emotional bodies. It is the most important planet in our chart from a karmic/past life perspective. An analysis of the North and South Nodes of the Moon will help you better understand your Karmic Mission for this lifetime based upon your past lives.

Your North Node is in Capricorn in the 11th House (the Aquarius House) - Your present life. Your South Node is in Cancer in the 5th House (the Leo House) - Your past lives.

North Node in Capricorn

Attributes to develop: (Work in these areas can help uncover hidden gifts and talents)

- Self-control - Staying goal oriented - Sensible approaches to problem solving - Letting go of the past - Self-care - Accepting responsibility for your success

Tendencies to leave behind: (Working to reduce the influence of these tendencies can help make life easier and more enjoyable)

- Dependence - Moodiness - Using the past to avoid the present - Isolation – spending too much time at home - Avoidance of personal risk

This lifetime is all about freedom for you, the freedom to be independent and courageous, to do your own thing and follow your own instincts. This lifetime is about getting in touch with your own vibrations and developing self-control and self-respect. It’s time to let go of moodiness, dependence and isolation.

Watch out that you don’t form emotional dependencies upon others because it’s a bottomless pit and you will never get enough reassurance to feel safe. At some point a risk must be taken and it will be time to take charge and assume full responsibility for the consequences. Once this happens, you will feel secure and in control of your own destiny. When you bring yourself into alignment with a higher principle or spiritual belief, you will feel protected and nurtured.

You will probably excel at being the boss and others are only too willing to cooperate with your goals because you approach people under your authority with sensitivity. You are better off in goal-oriented professions or positions that allow you to lovingly organize others to work toward a specific goal.

You have spent many past lifetimes as a householder; a central figure in the home, and on the farm, and thoroughly identified with your family or clan. But you have not had a lot of past life experience being out on your own. You may have difficult family karma because you were too often born into a situation where immediate family members had many emotional problems. You were so used to being the nurturer that you lost a sense of your own direction. The first step for you, in this lifetime, is to distance yourself from total emotional involvement with your family.

You may often dislike or feel alienated from one, or both of your parents. To be successful you must be willing to put your own best interests and self-respect ahead of the desire to cast your parents or others as wrong. There must be a conscious effort not to dwell on the past, and to stay focused on what makes your life strong in the present – doing things that bring you self-respect

You may feel you need a strong partner for protection and support but what you really need, is a partner who can support you in developing your own professional and personal authority. When you come from a position of neediness, your relationships break down. The fulfillment you seek can never come primarily from a relationship; it will come from actively pursuing your mission and participating in life from a take-charge position that builds self-respect.

A primary factor in the problems you may have experienced in relationships and with intimacy is your disinclination to listen. To make relationships work you must deliberately concentrate on listening. When you are focused on helping others you can bypass your emotional response and connect with your ability to see the larger picture. Not listening may cause you to miss opportunities. You consciously work on this by saying to yourself: “What opportunity is this person bringing to me, what is the opportunity in this situation?” By focusing on opportunities that are being presented, your capacity to listen will shift to a focused, take-charge mode.

Your salvation lies in becoming more objective and goal oriented in all areas of your life. Commitment is key and reaching a goal is extremely fulfilling for you because it validates your power, expertise and competence in a way that nothing else can. In the end, the self-assurance and self-respect that has been gained from the process is your true reward.

Healing Affirmations:

- “I cannot control others, but I can control myself.” - “In releasing the past, I deal more effectively with the present.” - “When I take charge, I win.” - “I don’t need to depend on anyone else to take care of me.” - “I am in charge of my inner state of being.”

North Node in the 11th House (Aquarius)

Attributes to develop: (Work in these areas can help uncover hidden gifts and talents)

- Objectivity (seeing the “total picture”) - Willingness to share unconventional ideas - Active participation in groups - Recognizing how others are special

Tendencies to leave behind: (Working to reduce the influence of these tendencies can help make life easier and more enjoyable)

- Insistence on getting one’s way - Making changes just to exercise authority - Attachments to taking risks (romance or gambling) - Melodramatic tendencies - Prideful responses based on fear

You do need to become aware of a need for others’ approval, because you will never get enough approval to feel satisfied or to feel free to be yourself. You must risk disapproval and be true to your own unorthodox ideas in order to develop the deeper and more satisfying feeling of self-approval. You may find yourself endlessly risk taking – especially in romance. If you don’t balance this romantic energy with a daily commitment to some type of humanitarian cause, it can become too intense and you may inadvertently destroy the very relationships you want so badly.

What you really want is to be in love: to be adored and share “center stage” with someone who returns your passion. To reach this goal you must learn to go with the flow – to let life (with its perfect timing) bring others to you, who will recognize and adore you. You were probably an entertainer or a King or Queen in past lives – someone who was accustomed to being “special.” But this lifetime is more about consciously focusing on the people you interact with and encouraging them to get in touch with their own needs and to manifest their own dreams! Your destiny is to come down from your isolated throne and re-establish yourself as part of the collective, to help bring in the New Age.

You are probably quite talented with groups and are able to bring innovative ideas to the public. You may have been a well-known artist or highly creative person in your past lives, developing an attachment to pride, as you arrogantly promoted your vision above all others. This can help you reach goals in this lifetime, and it also gives you innate confidence in your own power to overcome life’s obstacles. But this is not a “do it yourself” lifetime,” instead you are learning how to transform your overactive ego into a vehicle for furthering the evolution of humankind.

You also work well in positions that require objectivity; scientist, astrologer, electrician, technician, computer expert, or in any occupation where the ability to see the future and bring it into the present is an asset. You are successful and happy in work that brings innovative ideas to the public. Broadcast work in radio or television is another field in which you have innate talents. But if you willfully enter professions that spotlight you rather than a higher principle (eg. movie star, corporate head), it leaves you hardened and unable to relate to others with equality.

You are learning to trust the Flow. You are very generous, and life responds to you with generosity. If you don’t get your way – or if someone says “no” to you – you need to expand your vision to see what other opportunity life is bringing. You must let go of your limited picture of what will make you happy and be open to life’s bounty – then a wealth of new experiences will bring you unexpected pleasure.

Healing Affirmations: “When I do what’s best for everyone involved, I win.” “Once I decide what I want, the universe will bring it to me.” “I don’t have to dominate others to feel okay about myself.”

Shirley's Comments:

Lifetime #1: Gena: The only thing that stood out to me was her unhappiness; that's something I've dealt with all too often in this lifetime, without a doubt.

Katheryn, who you saw pining away in a tower: My twenties were rough, and I often felt as if I were trapped in a metaphorical tower. I'm also all too familiar with that pining away feeling, that longing for a better life.

The male in Mexico: This didn't surprize me all that much! My heritage is German-Hungarian, but as a pre-teen I became obsessed with the band Menudo, and I'd sing along with them not knowing a lick of Spanish, and was able to more or less understand what was being sung. When I take the time to learn (and practice), Spanish comes fairly easy to me, and I've been told my pronunciation was pretty spot on for a white chick!

Lifetime #2, Kentu (or Bentu): This was really interesting to me; the idea that I was a warrior or sorts! I wonder if the ceremony you saw was Goddess-centered; it would certainly explain my draw to her.

Nodes of the Moon: Things to develop: Yes, yes, yes, and yes to each and every one! I need to work on each and every one of those things. I don't think I ever learned how to do any of those things in any real way.

Things to leave behind: Again, spot on.

"This lifetime is all about freedom for you; the freedom to be independent and courageous, to do your own thing and follow your own instincts. This lifetime is about getting in touch with your own vibrations and developing self control and self respect".

This truly resonated with me, because I don't have the freedom that I've always craved. The lesson, I suppose then, is that I'm to learn how to find it. That means standing up for myself for a change. I usually end up being viewed (and treated) as an emotional punching bag rather than a daughter.

"You may have difficult family karma because you were too often born into a situation where immediate family members had many emotional problems".

I don't know about any other lifetimes, but you certainly hit the proverbial nail on the head in this one.

"You may often dislike or feel alienated from one or both of your parents".

Oh, gosh, yes. Very much so. I often feel like I was born to the wrong people. Especially my mother.

North Node in 11th House: All of the above! The groups thing...now, that's really hard for a loner type like me! I have a tendency to fade to the background in groups.

To leave behind: I don't take very many risks, especially in relationships/friendships. I've been burned so many times before that it takes me a while to really trust that someone's being honest rather than using me. I will say, though, that I do have a tendency toward the melodramatic. More than I care for, really.

"You do need to be aware of a need for others approval..."

I'm very aware. It's a hard habit to break. For most of my life I've been put down and told how worthless I am, and I've found that it manifests itself in that need-to-please mode. I have a hard time saying, "This is me, the hell with everyone else".

"What you really want is to be in love..."

Yes. Above all else, yes. This really hit me in the face when I was looking over my vision boards (I do them in a huge spiral bound sketch pad). When I compare them to examples I've seen in books, mine are overwhelmingly love/marriage related, whereas everyone else's is money and success. (Those things are in mine, too, but love wins out hands down!)

I definitely want to give the healing affirmations you included with both a try, too.

The only thing that truly didn't resonate with me was in the past life reading, the farmhouse wife in the 1950's. Although as a teen I was intrigued with that era (I used to pester my mom to take me to local car shows so I could drool over the Ford Fairlanes and I was really into the music, too), that part didn't really strike a chord in me. And I'm not sure I really understand Gena's (the little Italian girl) ability to remove cords of negativity and store them away, only to release them later. I wonder if she was a witch? Was that metaphorical or metaphysical?

The simple fact that you want feedback - both good and bad - shows how much you care about what you do and those you read. That goes a long way in my book!

I have to say, that with all of the negativity swirling around me, your readings have been the only bright spot, the only glimmer of light that's kind of giving me the oomph to keep pushing through this gunk. That probably sounds melodramatic, but I just don't deal well with stress!

And I have to say...Wow. Wow! I've never had such a beautiful, insightful, and just plain interesting reading.

And thank you for being a little bit of a bright spot for me in what's turning out to be a really crummy week! Now, more than ever, I'm ready for it to finally be my season, my time to really live instead of just survive. You gave me a little hope. Thank you.

Sample of a Past Life Reading

*Reprinted with kind permission from my client.

I will begin your past life reading by taking a look at several of your past lives based upon a psychic/soul reading of your past life energy.

- The first vision I get is of you as a little girl on a farm. You are happy, but then the nightmare begins. This nightmare will repeat itself again and again until you understand it. You even have a desire to take your own life.

- I do see you growing up into a tall, slim, long haired, blond woman.

- It is the early 1900’s in Sweden and your name is also ‘Aubrey.’

- I hear you asking (back then), “but what options did I have as a woman?”

- So you became a poet and you write and heal in your own sort of ivory tower.

- The words, ‘clench and unclench’ come to mind.

- I see you having a little girl and she becomes a teacher.

Life Lesson: Your lesson in this lifetime was to heal yourself, and others, and pass on the healing through generations of women after you.

- In the second lifetime I tapped into I see you as a little, scruffy, black haired farm boy, swatting at black and white cattle with a branch/switch.

- You grow up in Italy and become a gentle and suave man.

- You have a good understanding of women, but you also have a bit of a cruel streak.

- In business you are ruthless, you like trading, and you like guns.

- You are not a playboy. You are in love with a beautiful blonde.

- You have children and you are successful.

- The time is the 1930’s.

Life Lesson: Your lesson in this lifetime was one of pleasure. You weren’t too deep, but you were steady and true.

- In the third lifetime I tap into I see you as a very, very old and wise woman.

- The name ‘Matilda Jones’ crops up.

- I see you alone in the woods, very mysterious.

- I also see you in Russia in the Black Forest, as a sort of gypsy.

- You are taking your place in a long line of healers, and healing in mysterious ways.

Life Lesson: Your lesson in this lifetime was to trust in answers that mysteriously appeared.

Your North Node is in Libra in the 3rd House (the Gemini House) - Your present life.

Your South Node is in Aries in the 9th House (the Sagittarian House) - Your past lives.

Libra North Node:

Attributes to Develop:

- Cooperation

- Diplomacy

- Increasing awareness of others’ needs

- Creating win/win situations

- Sharing

Tendencies to Leave Behind:

- Impulsiveness

- Thoughtless self-assertion

- Self-centeredness

- Lack of good judgement regarding money

- Outbursts of anger

With a Libra North Node you need to be aware of selfishness because it is a bottomless pit – no one else can fulfill your needs for you. Satisfaction lies in connecting with people who see you for what you are. When you support others unselfishly that energy will eventually come back to you and help you create the kind of situation you really want. You also need to watch out for an un-ending search for independence.

Accomplishments and independence will not make you feel complete.

You could be a fantastic counselor, diplomat and peacemaker because you have the gift of clearly seeing and communicating mutual understanding between people. You could also excel in fields involving beauty and art. You would make a great entertainer or public speaker as long as your goal is to uplift, energize and bring confidence to your audience. Any profession in which you play a supporting role will be successful for you.

You have past life gifts of independence and leadership and you can use these gifts of self-confidence as a tool for peacemaking and helping establish justice for others. However, if you pursue professions that have your own independence as the aim, you may become dissatisfied and feel you have never reached your goal. When you use your strong self-identity to support others, you gain a sense of inner satisfaction and completion.

You had many past lives as a warrior where your entire focus had to be on keeping yourself alive and this has made you quite competitive and goal oriented. In the process you may have lost touch with love and the ability to work with other people, but this lifetime is all about partnership and there will be plenty of opportunities to get it right! You also might have an exaggerated survival urge and a “me versus you” mentality. It’s all you’ve known. But this is not a warrior lifetime, no one is out to destroy you or take things away from you. You need to realize you have comrades on all sides. Your job in this lifetime is to help others win battles, and in doing so, you win.

Healing Affirmations:

- “When I focus on supporting others, I feel confident.”

- “When the team is successful, I win.”

- “When I share with others, I have more.”

North Node in the 3rd House (the Gemini House):

Attributes to develop:

- Healthy curiosity

- Asking questions to learn how others think

- Seeing both sides of a situation

- Tact

- A positive approach to life and other people

- Purposely cheering others up

Tendencies to leave behind:

- Self-righteousness

- Thinking one knows what others are saying without really listening

- Needing to be right

- Careless spontaneity

- Resisting ideas that are foreign to one’s belief system.

There is a need for you to release any kind of preoccupation you may have with the absolute Truth. What’s important is learning how to relate to people as they are, listening to them and learning from them. What you really want, is to be completely free to pursue Truth, have adventures, be spontaneous and be right 100 percent of the time. You want to speak completely from your Truth and your intuitive process and to have everyone understand you, learn from you and appreciate your help. To attain this goal you must stop focusing on “your Truth” and begin to focus on the people around you. You have the ability (when you listen) to tune in to the specific thought processes of others and supply information that allows others to view problems from an expanded perspective. Selling, writing, teaching and communicating in all forms can bring you happiness as well as prosperity. You will also have gifts in the areas of philosophy and religion and an innate awareness of ethics and morality.

You can use your spiritual and intuitive awareness to understand the thinking of others. However, if you involve yourself professionally in the pursuit of Truth or religion as a final aim, you may ultimately feel isolated. You are better off when you use your natural talents to deeply connect with others on a day-to-day basis.

This lifetime is all about bringing your vision into reality. You must express that vision in a way that the world understands and when it does ‘get it’ you must accept respect for your success. You need to stay on track and leave behind insecurity, taking shortcuts, aloofness and a sense of isolation. Your South Node in Sagittarius (opposite sign of Gemini) means you spent many lifetimes pursuing Truth on your own – as a wandering nomad in the desert, as a hermit, nun, priest, philosopher or monk. Because you sought Truth, spirituality, ethics and enlightenment above all else, you neglected society and human relationships. Due to the isolation and loneliness of your past lives you may have a hard time communicating with others in this lifetime.

The challenge in this lifetime is learning to value communication as a vehicle for curiosity as well as welcoming input from others. Sometimes you may appear combative, and others will resist you. There is a need for you to recognize that it is your presentation they are resisting and not necessarily your point of view. The real challenge in this lifetime is rejoining society so that you can learn how best to connect with others and share your Truth.

Healing Affirmations:

- “This is a people oriented lifetime.”

- “When I am willing to listen, tune in and connect with others I win.”

- “When I tune in to how others think, I know what to say.”

- “If I don’t understand, it’s okay to ask questions.”

All I can say is WOW. All the lives you saw are different versions of who I am now. It was kind of eerie, in a good sense.

I still have a bit of Ella in me… Like Ella, I am always catching a glimpse of someone or something in the corner of my eye. “I also catch a glimpse of several other lifetimes:- I see you as a young blind woman with a big heart.” Being blindfolded or in the dark is a very uncomfortable place for me to be. I get very panic stricken. As for the big heart.. I retained that quality.

“- I see a wild horse with a bandito rider”. I have always been a wild child. Not in the sense of uncontrollably wild, but very free spirited and I always feel as if I am on the run…

“- I see a mother with a whole brood of children – she is very happy.” I adore children and always wanted a big family. I have 3 children but often regret not having more.

I think I am living my Gorte time period again. I am still mulling that one over. It hits me very hard. The life lesson from Gorte: Life Lesson: You suffered great loss in this lifetime, but you survived it and you returned. You discovered how resilient the heart can be and what family means, but you only truly discovered this at the very end of your life.

I have had a very trying life as RuthAnn…much loss and deliberate separation from the only living person in my immediate family, until last year about this time. I made the move to reconnect because I feared it was coming close to the end of my brother's life. ( he is 65 and I am 50) and this sectionYou discovered how resilient the heart can be and what family means,” brought me to tears.

My 3rd lifetime you tapped into made me giggle. I am fascinated with midgets and I am a large woman that loves my home dark. As for the artist.. ahhhh How I wish I could be or could have known what it was like to be an artist, since in this life time, I am a colorblind woman.

An area that did not resonate with me was in the tendencies to leave behind. I am not selfish in the least. Everything else was spot on.

Thank you.. this helps me so much to understand my life and what my purpose may be.

A Past Life Reading for RuthAnn

*This reading was done for RuthAnn Dickinson in August of 2009 and is published with kind permission.

I will begin your past life reading by taking a look at three of your past lives based upon a psychic/soul reading of your past life energy.

- In the first lifetime I tap into I see an image of something flitting and flying all about – it appears to be from the Faery realms and her name is Amoertella!

- This faery spirit was associated with a little girl named Ella but I am unsure if you (RuthAnn) are the faery or the little girl or both!)

- The time period is the 1880’s in England.

- Ella dreams of this faery, but she doesn’t remember the dreams.

- Ella is also associated with a large white flowering bush.

- She is from a well-to-do family and she becomes a writer.

- One day Ella sees this faery out of the corner of her eye and that comforts her.

- It is Ella’s emotional needs that call the faery to her.

- Ella’s writing became more in-depth after she sees the faery and she also starts to write columns in the paper.

- I pull a card from my Fairy Herbal Healing deck to take a closer look at Ella and her fairy and it is called “Diogenes Lantern Fairy”.

Diogenes Lantern (a member of the Lily family) is a feminine herb ruled by the Moon and the goddesses Venus and Juno.It is a protective flower that has been used to break love spells involving a specific person.

- Ella’s writing was of interest to both scientists and children.

- The faery stayed with Ella until she died and helped her cross over to the other side when her time came.

Life Lesson: This was a lifetime where fantasy and reality intertwined bringing new realities and dimensions into both your own life, and to all of human-kind. These lessons contributed and fit quite well into the enchanted time period of that particular time in history.

I also catch a glimpse of several other lifetimes:

- I see you as a young blind woman with a big heart.

- I see a wild horse with a bandito rider.

- I see a mother with a whole brood of children – she is very happy.

The second lifetime I tap into also takes place in England, but during Robin Hood times and your name is Gorte.

- You are a traveler, a simple man and you look like the person depicted in the Fool card from the Rider-Waite deck; you are wearing the same hat.

- I see you always on the road, whistling, free and at ease.

- Sometimes children follow you and you play games with them.

- You’re not searching for anything, until one day you meet ‘her’.

- This reminds me of a fairy tale! She of course, is unattainable, so you do everything you can to win her hand and eventually you do.

- You become a part of the castle that she was born into and have two children with her – a boy and a girl.

- I also see a wishing well at this castle.

- You are blissfully happy, but your wife dies at a young age.

- You end up leaving your two children behind because you are so devastated and you just disappear.

- But one day you return to the castle as an old man and you work in the kitchen to be close to your family and you never ever reveal your secret.

Life Lesson:You suffered great loss in this lifetime, but you survived it and you returned. You discovered how resilient the heart can be and what family means, but you only truly discovered this at the very end of your life.

The third lifetime I tap into takes place during the 1640’s in Bordeaux, France and your name sounds like Wall eye (not sure of the spelling!)

- My first image of you is as a very large man living in a great, dark home filled with large, abstract looking paintings (abstract in a sort of Japanese aesthetic way).

- You are the painter and when you paint it appears as though you are conjuring up paint as if it was smoke!

- I see a woman named Marie wearing a floor length gown in the background, but it’s your art that is your primary passion.

- You are not French born, but secretly Polish and a count (you hide this from everyone) and your mother may have been Swedish.

- You do have money.

- Sometimes you dabble in the black arts – you are drawn to all that is mysterious.

- You also hire midgets as your attendants!

- Everything you do is larger than life - your muse and your passions.

- At one point you just leave it all behind and sail home to be near your mother who needs you and who you tend ironically, until your own death. Your mother does manage to outlive you.

- You lived too much in too short a time, but you die happy and at your mother’s side.

Life Lesson: Like a spoiled child, you conjured up great passions, but in the end you returned home knowing that you are doing what is right. You led a wild and grand life that took its toll, yet your heart returned home in the end and you died a fulfilled man knowing this.

Your North Node is in Libra in the 9th House (the Sagittarius House) - Your present life.

Your South Node is in Aries in the 3rd House(the Gemini House) - Your past lives.

North Node in Libra

Attributes to Develop:

(Work in these areas can help uncover hidden gifts and talents)

- Cooperation

- Diplomacy

- Increasing awareness of others’ needs

- Creating win/win situations

- Sharing

Tendencies to Leave Behind:

(Working to reduce the influence of these tendencies can help make life easier and more enjoyable)

You also need to watch out for an un-ending search for independence.Accomplishments and independence will not make you feel complete.

You could be a fantastic counselor, diplomat and peacemaker because you have the gift of clearly seeing and communicating mutual understanding between people. You could also excel in fields involving beauty and art.You would make a great entertainer or public speaker as long as your goal is to uplift, energize and bring confidence to your audience.Any profession in which you play a supporting role will be successful for you.

But this is not a warrior lifetime, no one is out to destroy you or take things away from you.You need to realize you have comrades on all sides.Your job in this lifetime is to help others win battles, and in doing so, you win.

Healing Affirmations:

“When I focus on supporting others, I feel confident.”

“When the team is successful, I win.”

North Node in the 9th House (Sagittarius House)

Attributes to develop:

(Work in these areas can help uncover hidden gifts and talents)

- Reliance on intuition, prophetic abilities, and invisible guidance

- Spontaneity – developing a sense of freedom and adventure

- Direct communication free from censorship

- Trusting oneself

- Spending time alone and in nature

- Intuitive listening – hearing the meaning behind the words

Tendencies to leave behind:

(Working to reduce the influence of these tendencies can help make life easier and more enjoyable)

- Second-guessing what others are thinking

- Indecisiveness

- Perpetually seeking more information

- Gossiping

- Impatience – wanting immediate answers

You may find yourself on an unending search for information in a desire for mental security and on a search for truth. The bottom line is that you will never have enough information to know what the “truth” is. At some point, you need to go beyond logic to your intuition, and demonstrate what your higher truth is telling you. Real growth is only possible when you learn to let go of control and follow your intuition.Acting from your own truth will draw out your integrity and bring the right people to you which will help give you the security and peace of mind you seek.

You are highly intuitive and can excel in the psychic fields. You can also be successful in situations involving interactions with foreign countries. You are happiest when using your talents to find solutions ie. lawyer, religious or spiritual leader, professor, publisher, or a role in advertising – promoting various causes that you believe in on a mass level. You have a gift for foreseeing probable outcomes and when you verbalize this you can create win/win situations. However, if you work in professions where understanding and reporting how others think is the goal you may not fare as well. Teaching mundane subjects or working with projects that deal with fact rather than inspiration, can promote uneasiness and fear of being hurt unexpectedly.

You have spent many lifetimes in positions where it was essential for you to understand how others think: as a teacher, writer, orator and salesperson. You have the talent of seeing everyone else’s point of view, but in the process have lost touch with your own truth. Now you need to connect with your spirituality and rediscover yourself. You also have the gift of gab and can see into the mindset of other people.

You may have a tough time making decisions because you are accustomed to seeing both sides. To avoid this problem, you must not allow yourself to question your first feeling of “knowing.” Your intuition is usually accurate.

Be careful not to slip into telling white lies. Your special gift in this lifetime is truth. When you can honestly and directly reveal your own point of view, others will respect what you say.

The desire to win is also correct and healthy for you. You have a positive, cheerful and outgoing nature and are attuned to insights from your Guides and Angels. When you become negative, it’s because you’re thinking too much. As you relax your mind, your natural faith in positive outcomes will be able to re-establish itself.

One of the greatest gifts you can share with others is your unique ability to help people overcome negative thoughts and to show them how to take a positive point of view. One of the greatest challenges you face is achieving peace of mind. One viewpoint that could help is: “Hey, this is all just an adventure! It’s an experiment, a discovery!”

It’s also healthy for you to retreat from society, and spend time outdoors, with animals, and in nature. Regular exercise, meditation, hot baths and swimming will help you relax.

Healing Affirmations:

- “When I follow my own sense of truth, I win.”

- “When I let others be themselves, I am free.”

- “My intuition will show me the right road, spontaneously, as events occur.”
