Welcome to the Nude Alien Super Power Series!

This may become a new oracle deck based upon the great excitement I sense when showing folks this new series.

About Kathy Crabbe

Kathy Crabbe

As a soul reader, astrologer and oracle deck maker the work I do touches many souls on a deep level. I offer sanctuary, solace and inspiration to soul seekers awakening and exploring hidden depths and other worlds. I provide a safe space and encouragement to assist my clients in shining light upon their gifts in tune with spirit and the divines.

Faerieality

I am a self taught artist intuitively inspired by a shamanic exploration of seen and unseen worlds. I combine unconventional methods like non dominant hand drawing, random word collage, and dreams to help ne lose my bearing and move forward with only a glimmer of faerie dust to lead the way.

The Faerieality Series is painted with gouache and watercolor on Montreal-made paper. Each painting is inspired by an intuitively chosen section of a book that I felt had ‘faerie energy’. After the painting was done I then intuitively chose a few words to collage into the piece.

About the Originals: Each original is a gouache and mixed media painting measuring 6x6 inches (15.2x15.2 cm) and is adhered to an 8x8 inch acid free mat, ready-to-frame (frame not included).

I work within the field of Spiritual Automatism. This is a method of art-making in which the artist suppresses conscious control over the making process, allowing the unconscious mind to have great sway. Early 20th-century Dadaists, such as Hans Arp and made some use of this method through chance operations.

Forgotten Victorian artist, spiritualist and medium, Georgiana Houghton is also an inspiration.

Paintings from the Faerieality Series

“Noise and Silence - wind in the trees, thunder, flowing water, falling leaves, rain, animal voices, bird song - we live amid a teeming polyphony of natural sounds.”

Thomas Moore, The Re-Enchantment of Everyday Life

“Day darken! Frogs say
By day…bring light!
Light! They cry
By night. Old Grumblers!”

Haiku Harvest

“How will you know when these other aspects of self begin to show themselves?…You may be sitting one day and find all of a sudden that upon blinking your eyes you are sitting in a different room. That is getting hit over the head with a two-by-four.”

Barbara Marciniak, Family of Light

“To see Schafer’s opera The Princess of Stars, for instance, the audience must arrive at a lake in the middle of the night, and find their way to the embankment. At 5:00 a.m., precisely the performance begins with the appearance of the presenter in a canoe. Actors and dancers can be heard, chanting in an unknown language from other canoes at the center of the lake, while the musicians and singers are hidden in the surrounding trees.”

Suzi Gablick, The Re-Enchantment of Art

“Weaving boundaries
staking out home turf overnight
with a web of soft imperative.”

Georgia A. Popoff, Coaxing Nectar from Longing

“Whenever you feel you need a break, take a walk and enjoy the wonders of nature all around you. If you open your eyes you cannot fail to see them. All of that helps to keep your vibrations raised.”

The Findhorn Community, The Findhorn Garden: Pioneering a New Vision of Man and Nature in Cooperation.

Press Release

My creative exploration of goddess myth and HERstory began in 1995 with the publishing of my Goddess Zodiac Playbook compiled from over thirty paintings, poems, stories, and musings I created during a one month period as the moon transited through the twelve signs of the zodiac.

In 2008 I turned these paintings into a Goddess Zodiac Oracle card deck that guided over 1000 souls during intuitive readings I gave at Nirvana in Temecula, online, and in Moon Circles I facilitated at Mt. San Jacinto College and Yoga for Life, Temecula.

In this exhibit you will find ten goddess paintings completed between 2014-16 that have been published by We’Moon Datebook, the New Zealand Astro Diary, and SageWoman Magazine available at our very own Barnes and Noble, Temecula.

The ten large abstracts on display are from my Divine Feminine Journey into Intimacy series painted with acrylic on canvas from 2008-12 when I HAD to paint large. These paintings have been shown at Sun City Library and San Marcos Library.

You will also find my favorite, most popular silk art mermaids from my Laguna Beach days at the Sawdust Art Festival.

The latest work on display are goddesses painted on vintage, reclaimed wood and oak and sugar bush foraged from my Temecula property.

If you ask I’ll show you the series I’m working on now (not on display) called 54 Goddesses – I’m painting one-goddess-a-day for 54 days before I turn 54 on Sept. 7.

In 2020 I will publish the Goddess Zodiac Oracle deck (the book is already available here) and exhibit nine of those paintings at the Grace Mellman Library, Temecula in March.

Sparkly Blessings!
