Libra Full Moon Collage - the Fire Bird Rises!

This is for the the Divine Female within all of us - she is Goddess unbound, unfettered, free. She knows the blood mysteries, worships the moon and calls upon no man to complete her. She stands alone yet united with women everywhere, strong and capable of earning her way in the world, healing her sorrows, tasting her joys, and feeling one-ness with the All.

I celebrate this Full Moon in Libra with simplicity and simple pleasures. My Full Moon Collage is a manifestation of all I believe in and am present to at this moment in time.

She is full tonight, the moon and I worship her beauty as I worship my own. Together we celebrate, as together we share our stories, our creations and our inner knowing.

Join with me, Divine Goddesses of the Moon as we come together to make magick, make merry and make our dreams and hopes manifest.

My collage consists of my recent painting Fire Bird, a Libran symbol (for me) of Cardinal fire and air. I have also incorporated the astrological symbol for Venus and within her circle have placed an Isis Goddess Crystal, then in the blood red ink of passion have scrawled out the script, and to finish things off have included a clipping from a recently planted native plant species called Ribes indecorum (great name!) which is a White Flowering Chaparral Currant.

If you wish to join in the fun, check out my eClass which begins anew at each New Moon Awaken the Divine Feminine at the Wise Woman University.

Finding Our Heart-Home

Sometimes it feels like I spend more time shutting out the world than I do being in it, through meditation, deep thinking, deep feeling. The time spent on this is immeasurable - time does not equal money. How little money can we exist on? How to simplify so that basic needs are met, leaving room for art-making, play, deep reverie? A longing for one-ness with the universe, the Divine, the source, the thread connecting all I do. Sometimes we seek outside of ourselves to fill this emptiness, this loneliness felt deep within our soul, but outside sources can never fill this bottomless pit. Instead we need to recognize our yearning for what it truly is, a search for source, a longing for re-connection with our Divine self.

When we realize this - that our heart-home lies always within reach and that our true home is always within ourselves, we are home, we are blessed, we are free.

On Being a Professional Psychic

I am a professional intuitive, channel, medium, psychic – all these words describe the same thing. I work in complete faith and trust with the Divine. It’s about letting go of ego, learning humility and recognizing that the Divine does all the work. We are merely channels and messengers. The daily work involves meditation, focus and strength; learning to trust implicitly in something greater than oneself.

“Clay Feet” – This was a phrase that came up during the shamanic journey that Jura Scott did for me last week. It really stuck with me and I mulled it over and over again. Having "clay feet" meant that I was not divine in and of myself, it is my clay feet, my earthbound feet, that remind me in every moment that I am merely human. This is reassuring because often a client will expect me to give them all the answers to their questions in exact and perfect detail. As a human being and as a professional psychic, this is just not possible. Perfection is Divinity itself and a psychic who says they are 100% accurate all of the time is lying.
